Workshops!
All of the team at Little Tricks Theatre are excellent facilitators with a wide range of experience of working with young people of all abilities and backgrounds. We love to create workshops to suit the needs of the group and therefore are happy to adapt to your requirements. Some of the workshops we have done in the past include:
Storytelling
-Whether you are working with a particular piece of text or are eager to inspire the children to create their own work, then we can help them to bring these ideas to life through imaginative exploration. Our storytelling workshops aim to get the children creating stories within the classroom and beyond.
Drama
-The benefits of drama for children are never ending. It can help build confidence, strengthen language skills, encourage positive communication and co-operation, further creativity, concentration and many more! We love to use the art of improvisation within our workshops which is an essential skill for everyday life in getting children to think on their feet. Our drama workshops range in time frames from an hour's session to a play in a day!
Beyond the Shores
-We also have a touring show available now that can be accompanied by a workshop. The workshop would follow on from the show and get the children to create the next chapter of the story. What adventure do Pip and the Captain go on next? This is a fantastic way to inspire children to create their own stories through performance and writing. Please look at the 'Current Show' tab for further details on the show itself.
